Make sure to extend the background images or colors all the way to the edge of the black outline.

Add a separate layer named "Spot UV" with areas marked in 100% black (C0, M0, Y0, K100) where UV will be applied. Ensure no overlap with thin text or photos to maintain readability.
Confirm the Spot UV layer aligns perfectly with the base design elements to avoid misalignment during printing.
Save as a high-resolution PDF with a 1/8 inch (3mm) bleed and trim marks for accurate cutting. Please note that while the Spot UV layer should be included, it should not extend to the cutting edge.

Ensure that Spot UV elements align perfectly with the corresponding elements on the design layer.
Avoid overusing Spot UV. It should complement the design, not overwhelm it.
Keep Spot UV elements on a separate layer from the main design. Name the layer clearly, such as “Spot UV.”
Ensure Spot UV elements are exactly aligned with the design elements they are meant to highlight.
Check if your design file, including the Spot UV layer, is at least 300 DPI to maintain sharpness.
PDF Format: Save your file in PDFformat, which is suitable for high-quality print jobs.
Stop the spot UV 3-5 points from the edge of the card. It should not bleed.
