Bookmarks

• Standard bookmarks typically come in sizes like 2” x 6” or 2.5” x8.5”. You can also choose custom sizes to tailor your bookmark to fit perfectly in any book.
• Extend design elements 0.125” beyond the trim edge for a full bleed effect. This prevents white edges after cutting and ensures a polished finish.
• Use high-resolution (300 DPI) graphics for clear, crisp images and text. This ensures high-quality print results without pixelation.
• Design in CMYK color mode, not RGB. CMYK is used for printing and ensures colors are accurate and consistent in the final product.
• Consider finishes like matte, gloss, or UV coating. Gloss makes images appear sharper, while matte gives a sophisticated touch.
• Choose rounded corners to add a polished, refined touch to your bookmarks. A standard radius of 1/8” or 1/4” provides a smooth, finished look that enhances the overall design.

Experiment with various specifications by adjusting options and generating new templates — the changes will be reflected in the new template.

Once you have selected all your options, retrieve the file, import it as a layer into your design program, and start creating. For existing designs, copy your design and make adjustments over the template.

Remember to delete the template layer before saving your press-ready file so it does not print on your bookmarks.
